The “Officina dei Ricordi” is a laboratory specializing in the restoration of slicers, scales and coffee grinders of the historical Berkel brand. Original period objects, such as flywheel slicers, recovered and restored to their former glory. Talking about ourselves, describing ourselves, defining ourselves is not our job. Our skills find their raison d’être in doing, in the tireless and meticulous work that we carry out with passion every day. So first of all we invite you to come and visit us in our laboratory, to immerse yourself in the charm of the past by Berkel. Here you will get to know our faces and the places where we breathe the history of this brand that has become renowned. You will discover us generous, almost hopeless, towards the industrious people who share our same passion for the wonder of Berkel products. A passion, that for restoration, which is now part of the roots of our family. You will also find us generous towards everything that has brought us up here: culture, art and undoubtedly history. Our workshop is the place where we bring to the present the objects of the past and it is here that you will get to know us in depth. Unique objects that we handle with the care that is due to unique and precious things. With the respect that is due to the skill of the masters of the past. With the respect that is due to their history, to the hands that touched them, to the places where they lived, to the countries from which they come. Searching the wonderful Berkels and their elements
We have been looking for Berkel products for many years not only in Italy but in every other possible country. We have been dealing with mechanics for about 60 years and since 1990 we have dedicated ourselves in particular to the restoration of the fabulous Berkel slicers and scales. Over time, we have developed our workshop which now boasts admirers who go beyond the borders of our beautiful Italy. In fact, there are many of our “treats” that shine in different parts of the world. Bringing precious objects to their ancient splendor, respecting the historical period of origin without compromising their efficiency, is our mission. We like to take care of the smallest details and this leads us to carry out a few restorations but of great value.
